Editorial Avenue No. 24: 15th September 2025
On this date, the God’s Save Me website marks its second-year anniversary as a visible and conscious expression of the manifestation of pure divine energy on Earth. We emphasise its visibility and maturation into awareness as the project itself has existed in various forms since the beginning of time. However, the physical aspect of the website is the tool through which the symbolic structure that is Heaven is able to reconnect to the consciousness of the current humanity on Earth. We had hoped by now that it would have become a vice versa situation with Humanity also reconnecting to its Heavenly origins, but alas the veils and markings of illusions, shapeshifting and deceit continue to propagate, and the battle is far from won. But to journey to the end of a cycle necessarily leads to an uprising and this will be the theme that we will be exploring with you on this anniversary date: resisting illusion by embodying awareness.
Illusion does not always manifest in the way that one may think it does. The narcissist is not a master of illusion, for example. S/he masters awareness and in this case an awareness of the ideology, willpower and desires of her/his puppet which are then manipulated in order to serve the self-interest of the puppeteer. This could be in the form of withholding intimacy whilst maintaining a façade of benevolence or gaslighting for the purpose of achieving personal satisfaction. But the reverse also becomes true as people break free from narcissistic relationships only at the moment where self-awareness settles in. What we had in between throughout the duration of the narcissistic relationship arc is a classic example of an illusion having been allowed to breed through darkness. The current moral positioning we then have as a society is that to fight evil, one must necessarily become what one fears becoming or “Become a Monster”, as author Jordan Peterson posits. In certain religious mythologies, for example, this is represented as an archetype of light then transforming into their dark counterparts in order to annihilate the demons that Heaven could not eradicate. But the real question remains: why does Heaven, as a supra-divine architecture, not providing that protection?
Rituals and techniques derive their power from symbols in action transforming into energetic portals that are carriers of divine light. And having the very awareness of this is what allows darkness to corrode what is initially meant to be an ethical and benevolent gesture. For example, in The Last Airbender series, the character Hama, a waterbender, decides to use the technique of waterbending (controlling the movement of water in rivers etc.) for teaching herself bloodbending instead (exerting total motor control over another human body). But she does so not out of innate malevolence but from having been corrupted through years of oppression and trauma. In the absence of what she perceives to be a lack of intervention from Heaven in her life, she attempts to replicate cosmic justice herself by using bloodbending on human beings that were part of the nation that originally captured her. And sadly, this is where the illusion manifests in Hama. She misinterprets, or rather is now unable to access, the level of awareness necessary for seeking retribution through the annihilation of the darkness that had captured her. Instead, she is redirected towards seeking revenge on innocent villagers who become the sacrificial lambs at the altar of deceit. Hama’s problem is not an individual one, though. She does not use the technique of hidden coercion because of never receiving healing for her trauma and the grief she feels for her people. She uses it because a society as a whole, or the collective unconscious, is the one that turns on her.
Each time period is marked and transformed by what the collective is fantasising about with regards to itself. During the medieval times, it was believed that Heaven had already intervened through vertical transmission of Godliness to the Kinghead and scenes of public persecution became a way of teaching atonement. In modern times, the ultimate authority is granted to scientific rationality, paving the way to a belief that humans can self-correct and become a super-society through grounded reasoning. In all of these epochs, though, the comforting narrative is that things are under control and therefore the need to think deeper or to honour the sense of amorality (our innate divine compass) that comes up is bypassed. This also leads to rituals and techniques that have a finite architecture just like the systems used both during the medieval times and now. All of these still symbolically represent the good and the nature of the divine and are presuming stable rules of cause and effect as per the universal laws of the Universe. They will indeed work as well since reality does have a structure, but the problem lies in this very structure of finitude. Once a dark force understands the very parameters through which we are working, it can easily not only learn from it but also evolve around it. The collective actually shows that it remains unaware of the light that already exists within and, by being in this state, it overconsumes through seeking that which has been maliciously hidden through illusion. And this overconsumption may very well be what leans towards all of the complex histories that are generators of traumas that do not heal.
