Poem : No. 12, 31st August 2024
The Sun closed an eye
The Messiah reopened theirs
And in performing a pirouette,
Sang to the beings of the North,
Presenting the soul of Noah’s Ark.
The Sun shed a key,
The Messiah learned their lesson
And in performing another pirouette,
Linked to the foreheads of the East,
Speaking to them of the Last Supper.
The Sun's reflection shone in the water,
The Messiah walked a fine line
And in performing yet another pirouette,
Discovered the true tales of the South,
Helping them seal the passage of time.
The Sun wed the Moon,
The Messiah made a prayer for them,
And dancing in a pirouette,
Whilst crossing the sky of the West,
Opened up an entire world to them.
