Poem : No. 10, 30th june 2024

Ô tarnished soul and heart in bloom,
My palms are grazed from sharp cliff edges.
Time jostled and surprised us without reason,
Yet the thread of life from the white magician must prevail,
For Heaven will set me free.
I scrape through the wrinkles of the past,
My eyes sharpening underneath the paleness of the moon
The return home merges into nothingness,
Tamer than before, it has left a fortune,
For Heaven will set me free.
The ladder of destiny and the horse from my childhood await
With lash in hand, our worn-out tales dissipate.
The edge of temptation makes us falter,
We are exhausted but none collapse despite evil's sway,
For Heaven will set me free.
I reaffirm the vow to transcend injustice,
My voice breaks more and more but my quest is sure.
To grasp the eternal lantern of dawn,
To let it soar high towards Heaven in a breath of purity
For only He will set me free.
